- Founder-led selling has gotten us to early enterprise traction — turning that into a repeatable motion is now the bottleneck on growth.
- Enterprise voice AI is opening up across APAC right now. The next 12 months decide who owns the category.
- This is the most important commercial seat at the company, and it needs a builder, not a manager.
What you'll be doing
First 30 days
- Co-sell every active enterprise deal alongside the founders to learn the motion firsthand.
- Audit current pipeline, forecasting hygiene, segmentation, and qualification rigor.
- Define the enterprise ICP for FY ahead — verticals, geographies, deal size, decision-makers.
First 60 days
- Personally close at least one strategic enterprise account.
- Stand up forecasting, deal review, and pipeline cadences the team can run without you.
- Open the first AE and SE requisitions in Tokyo and Singapore.
First 90 days
- Hire 1–2 AEs and 1 SE; have them on a clear ramp plan.
- Build the partnership motion with the SI and reseller landscape across Japan and Singapore.
- Own ARR forecasting and report directly to the founders and board.
Who you are
- 6–10 years selling enterprise software in APAC — bonus for voice, contact center, or AI categories.
- Repeat track record of closing six- to seven-figure ARR deals.
- Japanese business-level fluency; English fluency required.
- You've built a function before — not just been part of one.
- You can sell, hire, forecast, and partner with product without any of those four being a weak spot.
