Why we're hiring this role

  • Enterprise voice deals stall without strong technical pre-sales — especially in regulated APAC verticals.
  • We need a senior SE in the region who can lead the technical conversation with VP-Engineering buyers.
  • First SE seat in Singapore — you shape how the function works for the whole region.

What you'll be doing

First 30 days

  • Partner with regional AEs on every active enterprise deal.
  • Build the demo environment that wins in regulated APAC industries.
  • Run discovery + technical scoping for at least 5 accounts.

First 60 days

  • Own end-to-end technical wins for 3+ accounts.
  • Document repeatable architectures so the next SE ramps in half the time.
  • Partner with product on the gaps you find in real customer evaluations.

First 90 days

  • Help close the first net-new APAC logo as the technical lead.
  • Stand up an SE playbook (demo flows, security questionnaires, reference architectures).
  • Recruit-attract candidates for the next SE seat.

Who you are

  • 3–6 years as a Solutions/Sales Engineer at a B2B SaaS or API-first company.
  • Comfortable demoing live, reading code, and writing config — without needing to be a senior engineer.
  • You can run a security review with a buyer's CISO and not get stuck.
  • Strong written English; Japanese, Mandarin, or Bahasa is a plus.
  • Bonus: experience with voice, telephony, contact center, or AI platforms.
